- Let churn for 25-45 minutes depending on machine. Takes mine 30 minutes.
- This tastes great. Freezes well, unlike a lot of homemade ice cream. Would be great with chocolate sauce, fresh fruit, brownies, etc.
Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla. Pour the mixture into the mixing bowl of the Cuisinart ® Ice Cream and Gelato Maker fitted with the ice cream paddle. Turn unit on, set Timer and press Start. Heat the cream, sugar, vanilla, and vanilla seeds in a small saucepan only until the sugar is dissolved. Be sure the sugar is dissolved - you will no longer feel any grittiness from the sugar if.
